Risks & Notices
PRODIGUS (beta) is an innovative platform still under development. While we strive to provide a secure and reliable experience, there are inherent risks associated with using a beta platform and emerging technologies like Web3. By using PRODIGUS, you acknowledge and accept these risks:
Loss, Misuse of Data: We implement security measures to protect user data, but no online platform can guarantee complete security. There is always a risk of data breaches, unauthorized access, or technical malfunctions that could lead to the loss or misuse of your data. Please note that although we plan to add Open Signal's encryption layer to audio the BETA version does not contain encryption and therefore can be intercepted, listened to by PRODIGUS developers. We make absolutely no guarantees or warranties on the system during BETA. We ask that you refrain from adding any personal/confidential information that is could potentially be made public during the course of BETA due to weak or no encryuption.
Loss, Misuse of Web3 Digital Assets: $PROD is a digital token within the $PROD Ecosystem. As with any cryptocurrency or digital asset, $PROD is subject to market volatility and technical risks. There is a possibility of losing your $PROD tokens due to hacking, technical errors, or exchange platform failures. We are not responsible for any losses associated with $PROD.
Inability for Team to Continue Development: The PRODIGUS team is dedicated to developing the platform, but unforeseen circumstances could hinder our ability to continue development. This could include financial constraints, resource limitations, or changes in the development team.
Inability for the Product to Get Out of Beta: PRODIGUS is currently in beta and may never transition to a full, public launch. The platform may not achieve the functionality or features envisioned, or it may encounter technical challenges that prevent a stable release.
Inability for Team to Update to New Web3 Technology: The Web3 landscape is constantly evolving. There is a risk that the PRODIGUS team may not be able to adapt or integrate new technologies quickly enough, potentially hindering the platform's competitiveness and functionality.
Inability to Organize: As a DAO in the making, PRODIGUS relies on effective community organization and governance. There is a risk that the community may not be able to reach consensus on important decisions, leading to delays or inefficiencies in platform development and management.
Inability to Find a Market Use: PRODIGUS aims to address a specific need in the creator and developer space. However, there is a possibility that the platform may not resonate with the target market, leading to low user adoption and limited success.
Inability to Manage Community Tools: PRODIGUS utilizes various tools to facilitate communication and collaboration within the community. There is a risk that these tools may be misused, leading to spam, harassment, or other negative interactions within the platform. Compliance with Law and Legal Action: Due to the global nature of PRODIGUS, the developers and the platform itself may be subject to the laws and legal actions of various jurisdictions. This may include requests from law enforcement to disclose user information or report criminal or suspicious activity. We will cooperate with law enforcement to the fullest extent permitted by law, but this cooperation may impact your privacy and use of the platform.
